Cookies & Local Storage

Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies and browser local storage are small text files or data entries placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile device when you browse websites. They are widely used to make web applications function securely, remember your user preferences, and provide personalized learning experiences.

2. How Headstart Uses Cookies & Storage

We use cookies and browser storage strictly for essential, functional, and performance purposes:

Essential & Authentication

Maintains your secure login session via Supabase JWT tokens, safeguards your account, and verifies member access rights across protected paths.

Preferences & Playbooks

Saves your interactive action playbook draft inputs, audio playback speed, voice preferences (Studio vs. Female narration), and UI theme.

3. Analytics & Performance

We use privacy-friendly product analytics (such as PostHog) to understand how members interact with our book breakdowns, audio narrations, and execution playbooks. This aggregated telemetry helps us identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and continuously improve platform speed. We do not sell or monetize this data.

4. Third-Party Services

When you complete transactions or stream content, trusted third-party providers (including Stripe/Whop for payment processing and Cloudflare for audio caching) may set technical cookies necessary to secure your payments and deliver low-latency audio streams.

5. Managing & Disabling Cookies

You can control, restrict, or delete cookies directly in your browser settings. However, please note that disabling essential authentication cookies will prevent you from logging into your Headstart account or accessing member-only books and playbooks.
